The BookThe Family Memoir of a diplomatic life is about living in many different countries with the authors Father who was a US diplomat and a Mother who was a prolific and amusing correspondent. She told of her adventures and travels and the people she met along the way. She hunted with her brother in law in Michigan and went deep sea fishing with Hemingway in Cuba. She was not a typical diplomatic spouse. She was interested in world politics and the stock market and was a popular guest in their many foreign postings. Her letters were fun to read and fortunately, her family saved them and passed them on to her daughter over the years.These letters and her own memories are the basis for this book.
