Little Cedar

Little Cedar chronicles the misadventures of two ten-year-old cousins, Pud and Skeeter, during a summer visit to their grandparentsa ranch at the foot of Rodney Mountain in the Kiamichi Mountain Range. The ranch is an integral part of the Little Cedar community, which is located a few miles northeast of Antlers, Oklahoma. The time period is at the end of the 1940s. Little Cedar will give young readers a special insight into rural life in Oklahoma during the late a40s. Pud and Skeeteras driving curiosity and need to learn leads them into encounters with bees, cats, snakes, antique firearms, and ghosts, all of which have unexpected outcomes.
