Lignin Applications in Soil Rehabilitation: Combating Desertification with Artificial Humus

This work provides an overview of the problem of soil depletion and desertification and then offers solutions in the form of soil rehabilitation / creation of artificial humus through nitrogen-enriched ligneous materials from wood, straw pulp, and sorghum.
