Light of a Waning Moon

The enjoyment of poetry requires the effort of two. I, as the writer, to express a thought or idea in verse or rhyme, and you, as the reader, to receive and consider that idea. If we, through the words of this writing, share a single idea and thereby share and emotion, then our effort is not in vain.
