One sunny day, author BJ Jewett and her husband were traveling home when they spotted a tree shaped like the letter "A" set against the bright blue sky. They marveled at it and wondered if the forest held any other letter-shaped trees for them to find. And so began their journey to photograph all the letter trees of the alphabet! From A to Z, Letter Trees explores the Missouri forests and sings a song of appreciation for the outdoors! Writer and photographer BJ Jewett believes children should be outdoors exploring and getting dirty as often as possible. Nearly every day, BJ explores her own surroundings with her camera in tow. She lives on the edge of a hardwood forest in central Missouri with her husband of 38 years, two dogs, and two cats. Her grandchildren love to visit her on "The Farm," and she loves it too! Together they have adventures big and small.
