The Lesser Woolly Horseshoe Bat (Rhinolophus beddomei) is a species of bat in the Rhinolophidae family. It is found in India and Sri Lanka. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, caves, and urban areas. It is threatened by habitat loss. Bats are flying mammals in the order Chiroptera. The forelimbs of bats are webbed and developed as wings, making them the only mammals naturally capable of true and sustained flight.
