Leafing Through The Yesterdays

Born in Long Beach, California, in 1956, Jean Marie Boudreau is one of eight children. Raised on the east coast in the state of Connecticut, she attended Garden elementary school. Her first poem was written at the age of 10 and titled The Wind for a class assignment in the fourth grade. Jean graduated in 1974 from Jonathan Law High School in Milford, Connecticut, and her family relocated back to the west coast that summer. She currently lives in Long Beach, California, where she continues to write poetry.
