The Last Cast

The Last Cast is a story about a man who discovers a tombstone with no name or dates but only the words, The Last Cast. His love of fly fishing combined with an interest in various tombstone inscriptions prompts him to discover the mystery behind The Last Cast inscription. He located an 80-year-old retired cemetery sexton named John who explained how the grave marker relates to his own fishing experiences with a group of men who met for 50 years on the same date and at the same place to fly fish.
