Knights Of Industry (dodo Press)

Vsevolod Vladimirovitch Krestovski/Krestovsky (1840-1895) was a Russian author, poet and historian. He was a close friend of Dostoevsky and contributed to the journals Time and Epoch. His best known work is The Slums of Petersburg (Peterburskie Trushchoby, 1866). His other works include: Not the First Nor the Last (1859), The Sphinx (1860), The Flock of Panurge (Panurgovo Stado, 1869), Twenty Months in the Active Army (1879) and Egyptian Darkness (1889). Krestovskiy/Krestovsky Island on the Yenisei Gulf was named after him.
