Kiowa's Gold

1874 fiction taking place in western United States. The plot follows Seven Dais, a man haunted by his past, shot, left for dead, robbed of his gold who meets Tom Gary, a man lost to himself who helps Seven Dais search, find, and settle with the thieves who shot and robbed him.
