When I was a kid and started to misbehave when I was out with my parents, they just had to look at me the wrong way and I kept quiet. If I didn't get my act quickly under control, I got a spanking. I got spanked at home, in relatives' houses while visiting, in stores, and sometimes on a "Breaking News" forecast on Channel 4.So being raised when the rule was "Children Should Be Seen and Not Heard," it really bothers me to no end when I'm in a supermarket or a department store and a parent allows their child to yell, scream, turn their little head completely around, and spew out slimy green stuff like Linda Blair in The Exorcist.The parent is completely oblivious to the fact or just doesn't care that "Adorable Jennifer" or "He's Such a Sweet Kid Bobby" got possessed by a demon while riding in the car to the store. Also the "What's Your Problem, She's Only a Child, She Needs to Express Herself" parent doesn't realize that the high frequency sound waves coming out of Jennifer's mouth are causing glass products to shatter on the shelves and customers to start walking around like zombies in The Night of the Living Dead."
