James\' Journey

aLife is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath awaya (Anonymous). We all have our own journey to take and our own challenges to face. This is the story of a remarkable boy, who at age thirteen had to re-learn how to swallow, crawl, walk, and talk again due to a traumatic brain injury sustained in a car accident. Trying to get his life back on this fast-paced planet has been his challenge. We are all a blink away from our own unannounced accident or illnessa]and then Jamesa journey becomes ours. Watching him recover while maintaining his funny, sensitive, creative personality has truly taken my breath away! We are all people with disabilities and the ability to overcome extreme hardships. I am in awe of the power and determination of the human spirit!
