Jacques Brault

Jacques Brault (born March 29, 1933) is a French Canadian poet and translator who currently lives in Cowansville, Quebec, Canada. He was born to a poor family, but received an excellent education at the Universit de Montr al and at the Sorbonne in Paris. He became a professor at the Universit de Montr al, in the D partement d' tudes fran aises and the Institut des sciences m di vales, and made frequent appearances as a cultural commentator on Radio-Canada.
