It's Okay Mama Has Cancer

This a beautifully illustrated book about the battles author Shannon O'Brien had with cancer that included a double mastectomy removal of ovaries, brain surgery, and numerous rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and genetic therapy. While Shannon has been blessed with so many great doctors, friends, and family, her faith in God is the driving force in her life. Shannon refers to this time as, "The greatest time in my life." Shannon and her family are now dedicated to helping the children of cancer patients(and parents,too, if they need it!). Shannon's ability to manage her two young daughters through these battles is an inspiration everyone will admire. Shannon is active in her fight as well as in the race to find a cure.
