This book is the first part of Del Duca's book of poems, "Io Stongo 'e Casa 'America (I Liv'in America). This first part is entitled, "Concerning Myself" and deals not only with the poet's love of Italy, Naples in particular, but also with other adventures and observations of ordinary life: What happens to an Italian when he or she is deprived of pasta? How is a little boy who wants a new toy, satisfied by his grandfather? What is the connection between fresh peppers and racial relations?
