The Qwell, clerks and office managers for the Galactic Council, have disappeared and the government is in chaos. Starhell faces invasion by Council forces and must find a way to protect them selves and free humanity's future. Another great galactic civilization, hidden from the Galactic Council for centuries, is discovered and now the two must come to terms. And, the threat of the Skeltz becomes a new shadow on the stars.
