Medicare and Social Security costs have skyrocketed to the point that, 25 years from now, the United States Congress enacted legislation requiring our older citizens to participate in random lotteries that could bring them to an early death. Made slightly more palatable by having them attend small upscale dinner parties in private homes these Government Assisted Lottery Evenings (GALEs) nevertheless result in enough premature deaths to save the government several hundred billion dollars each year.
