In Wyoming, Boston medical examiner Maura Isles seeks shelter from a blizzard with friends in a remote village where something terrible has happened. Days later, homicide detective Jane Rizzoli receives news that Maura's body has been found in a ravine. Now Jane is determined to learn what happened to her friend.
