Ibrahim Tanko

Ibrahim Tanko (born July 25, 1977 in Kumasi) is a former Ghanaian footballer. He played mostly for Germany's Borussia Dortmund and SC Freiburg, as a forward.Tanko joined German Bundesliga side BV Borussia Dortmund from King Faisal Babes at age 17, making him the third youngest player to appear professionally for the team, behind Nuri ahin and Lars Ricken. He made his first team debut on September 24, 1994 in a 5-0 home win over VfB Stuttgart, and finished his debut season with 14 games and one goal.
