From start to finish, Eve's yard sale was a disaster. It had hammered rain all night long and the dreaded Early Bird bargain hunters started ringing her doorbell at dawn. But that was just for starters. Because that's the day Eve's husband Chuck decided to disappear from her life. He just walked out the door and didn't come back. What does a woman do when she's left to contend with a broken heart, two dogs, two children, an aging mother who moves to town to "help" but who may be more burden than help. In the end, she may be shocked to discover that she's about to gain more than she's lost.
