William Makepeace Thackeray (1811-1863) was famous for his satirical novels, particularly Vanity Fair, a panoramic portrait of English society of the 19th century. A compilation of cartoons and writing not identified as Thackeray's when first published in Punch, plus a bibliography of Thackery's 1843-1848 contributions to Punch.
