Each family history commences with the original 17th-century settler and is brought down, in most cases, to the early decades of the 19th century. The accumulated data is further enhanced by abstracts of land and probate records, the effect of which is to add still more weight to the already overwhelming evidence. Throughout, families are arranged in alphabetical order.
