Heart Pang

Writing poetry is a therapeutic activity through which I can effectively cope with my feelings. As a teenager, writing was the only tool I had to positively express the pain that lived within my dispirited being. As a survivor of my past, I continue to write about topics that, at one time, had little to no meaning in my life. Both time and writing have brought healing for the pain that once consumed my life.
