The health and environmental threats related to gas stations

This book describes the health and environmental risks related to gasoline exposure, genome susceptibility, possible ways for monitoring and protective attitudes that should be taken. A substantial report of fieldwork, that took place in 11 gas stations in Rio de Janeiro, was included in this book. The risk of gas stations in several countries is discussed with illustrations. The authors of this book sincerely expect to contribute for the prevention of health problems of workers at the gas stations, as well as the many other facilities of the petroleum production chain.
