Hannah's Trials

The heroine falls foul of a scheming stepmother and is sent to a brutal 'finishing' school in Germany. On her return she is packed off on a trip to the Americas with a social historian - a Lady with a prurient interest in femal subjugation. Wherever they go, it is Hannah who is volunteered as a Guinea pig, and by the time they return to England, she will find out if she is resilient enough to resolve the problems she finds there.
