Subconsciously avoiding her destined purpose by challenging every roadblock thrown her way, Adanna goes for broke, trying to navigate through the muddles of her young lived life. It seems no matter how diligent her efforts, her endeavors are only met with more trouble and trial. Despite doing everything the outside world says she should, every aspect of her life remained amiss. With the support of her twin brother and best friend, and her ability to keep her powers on the back burner, Adanna strives to maintain her tenaciousness to live a successful, normal life. But when the deceptive lenses of irony cloud her perception of her own reality, tragedy forces her to acknowledge herself for exactly who she is, as well as everything and everyone around her. But will she acknowledge the truth? And more importantly, will she accept it?
