Al Gore Goes to Heaven

In Al Gore goes to Heaven, Mr. Gore requests an interview with God to discuss global warming. He gets an earful. Fernando, a fly living on the Costa del Sol with his 57 brothers and sisters, flies onto a bus heading for Malaga. He ends up in a nightclub where he inadvertently falls in with Bad Company... Michelle, an advertising executive from Surbiton, boards the 7.47 a.m. train to Waterloo. When she gets off, she finds herself in a Central American country torn apart by civil war. Original, imaginative, quirky, often with a twist in the tale, these stories are impossible to pigeonhole. Written in a deceptively simple style with occasional flights of lyricism, they deal with serious topics, often with gentle humour. Some of the stories have a mystical, magical element to them. Others are gritty and down-to-earth. This could be a cult classic.
