God Speaks

For 36 years, Jordan Bishop's life is dominated by sorrow and chaos until one day she no longer has the strength to go on. Seeing herself as a victim of some sick cosmic joke, she summons the courage to get dressed, sit in her bathtub and gingerly place a Ginsu knife (one of those late night, can't sleep, infomercial-impulse-buys) against the veins of her wrist. For the first time in her life, she escapes the chaos of living and lands in a quiet, clean, airless moment where her only purpose is to commit her final act of living. Unexpectedly, the voice of God speaks to her. God speaks to her about the law of cause and effect that creates the circumstances of life.
