Glimpses Along The Path

Mahamudra experiences cannot be conveyed by words any more than a mute can describe the sweetness of sugar to someone who has never eaten it. However, through poetic imagery and analogy these verses come close to achieving the impossible. Cutting through the busyness of the discursive mind; leading to the experience of stillness and emptiness, they manifest the illusion of the phenomenal world. However, also included are more mundane experiences of the relative world which ground the practitioner who cannot always exist in the higher realms. The experience of ground and fruition are equal-only differing in the absence of obscuration.
