A hill station in India is incomplete without the toy train as a transportation option. Matheran is right up there in this respect. In fact, even without the fabled toy train, Matheran has lots to offer those seeking to unwind in their own special way. But it perhaps had a little more to offer to those who just casually crash into the place all alone, as Dev Kumar did and got the stunner of his life. It left such a lasting impression on him that he struggled to shake it off for over half a decade after the incident. Eventually he thought the better of it and decided to break free by unloading this burden of a memory.
