From The Imagination Of A West Texas Farm Boy

The stories in this book are compiled from many that I have written. Some are humorous and others are historical fiction. They were written from my imagination and from stories I told at schools. Many teachers recommended that I have the stories published, and I tried for seven or eight years. Then I started attending aPoetry in Motion, a a poets club, and Richard Scarbrough recommended that I try PublishAmerica. With a little coaxing, I agreed, and here we are. I began to tell stories when my young son and daughter began to fuss going home after a vacation. To survive an extremely long drive across Arizona and New Mexico, I would entertain them by making up stories.
