"Beware; for I am fearless, and therefore powerful." First published anonymously in 1818, Frankenstein is known by many as the first classic science fiction story. Frankenstein (who is the creator, remember, not the monster), is a tale known around the world for its gothic imagery, not to mention an innovative, culturedefining monster who sometimes seems all too human.
