Descrizione Fires of Justice

Levell Thomas, a black high school English professor in Queens New York, moves to Kennesaw Georgia after being offered a teaching position in Kennesaw Mountain High School. Attracted by the warm weather and southern hospitality, Levell settles into his new home with his wife, Caliya and his daughter Patrice. Little did he know that he was being watched by one of his neighbor's daughter, Raven Roberts, a precocious 17-year old girl who happens to be in one of Levell's English classes. Appearing frequently around his home and taking every chance to communicate with her teacher, Raven appeared to be a normal teenager, until Levell found out that Raven secretly loved him. Relentlessly, Raven pursues Levell romantically, seducing him at every turn, against Levell's wishes. Despite Levell's protests, Raven remains persistent and continues stalking Levell. It would all come to a head, one day at a graduation ceremony, when Raven aggressively attacks Levell. Levell barely escapes, only to realize that moments later, Raven would accuse him of assault and he was arrested. A jury finds Levell guilty of all charges and he was sent to Smyrna State Prison. While he remained imprisoned, Caliya tries desperately to prove her husband's innocence. She calls her cousin, Detective Isaac Sands to investigate her husband's imprisonment on false charges. Sands would later uncover a plot by members of a nationalist group and discovers that Raven's father Jerry Roberts, led the conspiracy against Levell. In a race against time, Sands would have to prove Levell's innocence, while contending against prejudice and the corruption of the justice system.
