Fey is an intelligent, loving, beautiful young woman. Given her potential, her goals are attainable. In a fair world, her life would be close to perfect. Her parents, without malice or intent, systematically destroy her options. Arne, her father, is domineering and often cruel. Her mother, Florence, is shallow and self-absorbed. Both are wrapped up in their own lives. They unwittingly allow a young man into Feyas life who helps them shatter her dreams.
