In July 1956, the luxurious Italian ocean liner Andrea Doria collided with the Stockholm 45 miles south of Nantucket. Half a century later, the wreck of the Andrea Doria is still claiming lives. This work recreates what was the pride of the Italian fleet, how it sank, and the dangers of the deep.
