Far Above Rubies

Stephanie Okonkwo was born in 1987, the only child of a woman who taught her that words were the plane ticket to a world most people can only imagine. With that piece of wisdom in mind, this young lady set out to not only read the verbal claims to paradise of others, but to create a special one of her own. Pulling from her religious faith, her relationships with friends and the opposite sex, and life in general, she chooses to weave with words, in the hope that, one day, someone yearning for something different will pick up her labor of love and be transported to a whole new world.
