Descrizione Evaluation of grape yield selected vine varieties after rejuvenation

The aim of the experiment was to compare 2 methods of pruning with loading to 16 buds (variant A) together on 2 canes and pruning with 22 flowering buds together on 2 canes. Experimental bushes were grown in system of middle loading, type of the Pendelbogen with the type Guyot system of pruning. Spacing was 1.6x1m. We found out that higher average yield was on the red grape varieties, as on white grape variety with pruning to 22 buds also pruning with 16 buds on the bush. The highest average yield on bush was observed on variety Blaufränkisch (7.53kg) on bush with pruning to 22 buds and 5.73kg on bush with 16 buds. Variety Saint Laurent has average yield on bush 7.26kg with pruning to 22 buds and 5.68kg with pruning to 16 buds. Statistically we found, that these two varieties are from one homogenous group, and the white wine grape varieties are from the second homogeneous group. Variety Sauvignon was average yield on loading to 22 buds 5.82kg on bush and with loading to 16 buds was average yield 3.97kg on bush.
