Essays in Regional Economics and Empirical Industrial Organization

This book, which is the PhD dissertation of Liqiu Zhao, consists of three different chapters that answer research questions from different fields in economics, namely regional economics and empirical industrial organization. More specifically, the book focuses primarily on investigating the impact of agglomeration on firms. In addition, this book also focuses on understanding firm¿s production and pricing behavior.
