Engagement In Teaching History

Believing that knowing about the past gives meaning to the present, the authors of this title seek to resurrect the study of history as an integral part of contemporary civic education. They offer ideas for prospective Middle and Secondary teachers concerning the selection of content, methods of instruction and ways to assess pupils\' learning.
