Elaine

When her reflection in the mirror confirmes the fact to her that she will never be a "beauty," Elaine is blessed with an awareness of her gift for words which gives birth to the journal kept by her throughout her lifetime. Elaine's life is a tribute to Isaiah 40: 3l, "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength."
