Drowned Lives

Beside the canals of Lichfield, a council officer is appealed to for help by a strange old man in the throes of a long-term family rift. The officer sends the stranger away, but is then approached by the police after the stranger is murdered. This exposes him to a deadly secret hidden in the canals and marshes.
