Down An English Lane

During the Second World War, Maisie Jackson was evacuated to Yorkshire Dales. It is 1945, and she has been corresponding with Bruce Tremaine, while he has been fighting with the RAF, and Maisie believes herself to be in love with him. But when he returns on VE Day, he is not alone. Maisie is devastated and her life is turned upside down.
