Determinants of stock prices: empirical evidences from seven sectors

Empirically various researches are govern to Identify the determinants that influenced stock prices. Present study will contribute in this regard as the core objective of this study is to establish the relationship of stock prices with different variables. The analysis portion of this study is split into two sections. Section I determines the influence of financial variables i.e. EPS, MBV, DE, CR and ROE on the stock prices of seven sectors of Pakistani economy. Section II of study comprises of macro-economic variables i.e. GDP, INFLATION, IR and FDI as explanatory variables in relation to explained variable i.e. stock prices.
