On August 13, 1983, 10-year-old Rebecca Torgerson went missing from her mobile home in Austin, Minnesota. Christmas Eve of that year her body was found in a dumpster behind a Minneapolis discount store. Rebecca's mother and boyfriend were tracked down out-of-state, arrested and extradited to Minnesota.
