Current developments, in particular the influence of the Internet on the medium and digital marketing, have revived the question of the criminal liability of Nazi symbols in computer games. In addition to legal questions of criminal law and the application of criminal law, problems of media law and the protection of minors from harmful media in connection with § 86a of the German Criminal Code are also examined.
