CRY OF THE HAWK

The cry of the Hawk overhead reminded Oeock, the Cheyenne warrior, of the words of the Medicine Man many moons ago. The Medicine Man told of a vision of a boy and the hawk. Telling of the journey to be taken by Oeock and the journey of the boy, Little Hawk. Both journeys would be full of struggle and discovery. The strength of Oeock and Little Hawk would be tested. They would both face sorrows but would receive comfort from the Great Spirit. The visions of Oeock and Little Hawk would one day lead them to reunite if they followed the cry of the Hawk.
