Medicinal and Aromatic plants are relatively newly introduced crops in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states have an ideal climate both in plains and high altitude areas for growing a variety of medicinal crops. Medicinal and aromatic plants are the crops of the future and are economically important, as they provide the basic raw material for pharmacies throughout the world.
