The cognitive process of children depends on the language spoken by them, they present ideas and thoughts through the language. The mother tongue of a child is well developed therefore his ability to grasp scientific laws and principles are better in his mother tongue. In the research findings, it is found that the instructions through mother tongue are better for the cognitive development of children because they perform better in verbal, problem solving, reflective thinking, divergent thoughts, grammar, syntax, and expressions.
