Codex Diplomaticus Aevi Saxonici 6 Volume Set

Published in six volumes between 1839 and 1848, this pioneering work was the first collected edition of the surviving corpus of Anglo-Saxon charters. It includes both Latin and Old English documents. Collected from many different archives and arranged chronologically, they date from the seventh century to the Norman Conquest.
