The Chronicles of Josie, Volume One

Josie is a young girl who has had a very hard life. When she was six years old her father began to abuse her. Finally, when she was twelve years old, she runs away from home to escape her father. She goes to Loarzelle, Colorado where she is taken in by Mrs. Rogerson who runs an orphanage.
